Country Club Policies

Policies of Play

A resident of Rutland County is allowed to play Rutland Country Club once per calendar month.

A non-member that resides in Rutland County for less than 30 days is not restricted to playing while you are visiting.

Unaccompanied play is limited based on availability. Tee times may be booked up to 6 days in advance. Please call the pro shop at 802-773-7061. 

Each person should do his/her part to make a round of golf at the Rutland Country Club an enjoyable experience. 

VIEW GUIDELINES

Junior Members, whether playing alone or with other Junior Members, shall not play before 2:30 p.m. on weekends or holidays, nor prior to 10:00am on weekdays. However, a Junior Member may be invited to play with a Senior member at any time, provided it is understood that the Senior Member will be accountable for the conduct of the Junior Member during such round. Junior Members and Intermediate Members may participate in Senior golf tournaments only on a space-available basis, and only at the discretion of the Board of Governors.

Each person should do his/her part to follow these rules set by the Rutland Country Club.

VIEW RULES

Proper golf attire is required to play at Rutland Country Club. Proper attire includes a collared shirt, slacks or shorts of proper length (no more than 4 inches above the knee).

Non-Appropriate attire includes tank tops, tennis shorts, jeans, cut-offs, or jogging shorts.

Golf Shoes with metal spikes are ‘NOT’ allowed.
